Matt graduated from Redeemer University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012 and went on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2014. Matt cultivated a passion for working with individuals with neurological and complex orthopedic conditions during this time and was fortunate enough to start his career in Ancaster working in a specialized neurological clinic. In 2017, Matt and his family relocated to the Quinte area where he continued to develop his skills in an acute care setting at Quinte Health, contributing to the development of the Integrated Stroke Unit which recently received National Distinction in Stroke Care.

Matt has completed numerous courses in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) as well as recent updates on concussion management and vestibular treatment. His use of the biopsychosocial model of patient care allows for a holistic approach that facilitates optimal results.

Matt has embraced the Quinte area as his home. He enjoys spending time with his family camping, hiking and out on the water. Matt is excited for the opportunity to help his clients achieve their goals and facilitate their active participation in work and recreation
