Kim knew from early on that she would love working in healthcare. Kim graduated from Queen’s University in 1997 with two degrees: Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education. A few years later Kim followed her dream and attended the Western University Physical Therapy Program. In 2002, Kim graduated top of her class with several awards from the Bachelor of Science Physical Therapy program.
Kim was with ‘Lead the Way’ for 18 years in the Kawartha region. During that time, Kim helped open and was an owner of Lakefield Physiotherapy and Foot Health Clinic for 10 years. In 2009, Kim completed training in Florida, which provided her certification for treatment of pelvic conditions. She went on to become an Advanced Practice Practitioner for low back conditions with the Rapid Access Clinic in 2019. Kim recently decided to move back to Quinte region to be closer to her family and joined the PhysioHouse Team!
Outside of physiotherapy, Kim is a hockey trainer and a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol. Kim has a passion for Adventure Racing, skiing, running and mountain biking.
