Physiotherapist
Rob earned his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Robert Gordon University in the UK (2016), following a BHSc in Kinesiology (2013).
During his time overseas, Rob was granted the opportunity to play for the local ice hockey team, playing tournaments across Scotland. This fuelled his passion to implement his knowledge of sport and biomechanics to help optimize movement and mobility and prevent overuse sports injuries.
Throughout his career, he has been working with clients of all ages, from desk workers to weekend warriors, helping a wide range of injuries stemming from recreational to elite level sport, or repetitive overuse. Rob considers the key to performance and injury prevention as mobility, a mixture of adequate strength and control throughout your available range of motion. He believes that quality movement is the best remedy.
Outside of clinical practice, Rob is frequently involved in team sports such as ice hockey and soccer, participating in obstacle races, or snowboarding. He has also volunteered for K2O Paddling race and through Spartan Canada to help give back to the sporting community he loves.
